FirstMate, Bing, and I are signing on (or getting Shanghaied into servitude) as crew aboard Shaboom for the 2013 DelMarVa Rally – a nice little trip down the Chesapeake and up the Atlantic, so we can have the privilege of, once again, getting creamed on the Delaware Bay. It is mainly just a little trick we are playing on Bing, letting her think the whole sailing thing is wonderful and glorious and then, BAM, welcome to the Delaware Bay, baby!!!

All-in-all, it’s a lovely week long adventure. Looking forward to it. Bing has inherited her mother’s foul weather gear, so she’s ready. It is too big for her now, so I’ve begun force-feeding her Spam & onions and Steak in Wine, hoping she’ll grow into it by June. One way or another, back to Annapolis we go!!!
